Over the last few weeks we have been working flat out to prepare the car for the Straightliners event at Pendine Sands in Wales.This world famous site is the only place in the UK that bares any resemblance to the salt flats in Utah.
In between the show at Farnborough and our recent trip to the Jensen Owners Club international weekend we have made some significant changes to the car which we hoping to announce as part of our post event report.
However during preparations for engine mapping some faults have shown themselves which mean it would be unwise for us to run this month.
As disappointing as this is, it is far preferable to find and correct these faults now than at Bonneville.
We will of course be coming back faster, stronger and more reliable.
