After many unavoidable and some avoidable delays things have begun getting the car and the other British owned motorcycles home.
There were some paperwork and communication issues between the various in and out shipping companies, that took some time to be sorted. Once this was overcome it was simply a matter of getting the vehicles down to the shipping agent to be containerised for the sea voyage.
Due to various time constraints and other unavoidable delays, we finally managed to get the car and the bikes loaded up. The trip from Pinon hills where Bruce has been storing them (for which we will be eternally grateful) down to L.A, where the organisation that actually put the things on the boat operate from was another adventure in the story.
However, everything arrived safe and sound and soon was in the hands of the packing company.

Rather amusingly amongst the paperwork we received from the packing company was a small form indicating any damage to the vehicle as they have recieved it. This is the whole “It wasn’t us that’s how we got it!” form.
Fair enough, but considering the life the car has had over the last few years, most people would be shocked if this was the report on their car!

The following image is for Uncle John and Auntie Valerie.

So, hopefully our next communication will be from when we get to pick them up from the UK port.
Thanks to all involved for all their efforts and to you readers
