2025 looks to be a landmark year for the project. For a couple of reasons.
Firstly, we are celebrating the 60th birthday of our C-V8. At this age most people would be making plans for taking these easier and looking forward to a peaceful retirement. Our car is definitely made of sterner stuff than that and is not quite ready for its metaphorical pipe and slippers just yet.
Secondly, this will be our last visit to Bonneville with the Jensen. Our amazing car has already done more than it is reasonable to ask of any machine and it’s time to bring the old girl home for a bit of show and tell.
The team are flying out on the 24th of July, we will be preparing the motorcycle and car up at the workshop in Pinon Hills, CA. Once completed we’ll be headed off to Utah, hopefully arriving on Thursday, July 31st. This will give us time to get through a hopefully unstressful tech inspection (never going to happen!) in time to start racing on Saturday 2nd August.
Once the week is over and we’ve done all we can, we’ll take a leisurely drive back to California to pack up the car and motorbikes in preparation for their cruise home.
Our plan upon arrival is to be sending a lot more updates on progress and any work that has been carried out by our American team members in our absence.
Don’t panic, you won’t miss out on any of the news or action.

The 2025 racing season is just about to start in the USA.
The first meeting at El Mirage will be on May 17th and 18th.
Unfortunately we are not in a position to make this event. Time, money and opportunity are against us.
However, we extend our jealousy and best wishes to all those that are competing at this event.
God speed, friends for a speedy and safe event. Go fast!
